Service Agreement
1. Appointments
Teachers will inform students of their availability before any payments are made.
Students must contact their teacher at least 24 hours in advance to book a session for a preferred time.
For best results, we recommend setting up a regular class schedule.
2. Class Sharing
Certain promotions may restrict sharing of classes between students.
Classes purchased with the Referral Discount are non-transferable.
Only one free trial class is allowed per package, and students who have already had free trials cannot share classes within a single package.
Class distribution must be decided before the first session and cannot be adjusted afterward.
3. Absence and Rescheduling
Students: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform your teacher at least 3 hours before the scheduled class. Otherwise, the class will be deducted from your remaining classes.
Teachers: If a teacher needs to cancel or reschedule, they will notify the student at least 3 hours in advance. If not, the student will receive a complimentary class.
Platform Issues: No class deductions will apply if a platform-wide issue prevents communication between both parties.
4. Class Expiration Policy
Classes must be used within a specific time frame. If there is no contact from the student to ESL1on1 for a continuous period, classes will expire as follows:
10-class packages will expire after 50 days.
20-class packages will expire after 100 days.
30-class packages will expire after 150 days.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds may be requested within 7 days of payment.
Purchases made with promotional discounts are non-refundable.
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days.
Conditional Discount Policy
At ESL1on1, we reward students and companies who support our growth through referrals, long-term commitment, and testimonials.
Additive Discounts:
Receive a 5% discount off the base rate for each successful referral, up to a maximum referral discount of 15%.
Receive a 5% discount off the base rate for each consistency milestone reached: 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year, up to a maximum loyalty discount of 15%.
Receive an additional 5% discount off the base rate and 5 free classes by submitting a video testimonial about your experience with ESL1on1.
All eligible discounts are additive. The maximum total discount available is 35% off the base rate, in addition to the 5 free classes earned through the video testimonial.

3. Why are absences deducted, and why do classes expire?
Absence Policy: We reserve specific slots for each student, limiting other bookings during that time. If a student misses a class without notice, it impacts the teacher's schedule.
Class Expiration: If a student is inactive with ESL1on1 for 100 days, it indicates a lack of engagement. After this period, unused slots will be opened for other students.
