Privacy Statement

Your privacy and personal growth are very important to us. As you work to improve your English skills, I want you to feel confident that your information and learning journey are handled with care and confidentiality.

  1. Personal Information
    Any personal details you share with me—such as your name, contact information, or background information relevant to your learning—are stored securely and used solely to support your English learning experience.

  2. Learning Progress
    Your progress, test results, or any other data collected to track improvement are confidential and will only be used to help you achieve your goals. This information is not shared with any third parties without your explicit permission.

  3. Communication
    Your email, phone number, or any other contact details are only used for educational purposes, such as sending assignments, feedback, or relevant information about your English learning. I won’t use this information for any non-educational communication or share it with others.

  4. Online Sessions and Recordings
    If any online sessions are recorded (e.g., for review purposes), this will be communicated beforehand, and these recordings will be securely stored and only accessible to you and me. You may opt out of recording at any time.

  5. Your Rights
    You have the right to request access to your personal data, correct any information that might be outdated, and request deletion of your personal data when you decide to end your learning journey.

Service Agreement

1. Appointments

  • Teachers will inform students of their availability before any payments are made.

  • Students must contact their teacher at least 24 hours in advance to book a session for a preferred time.

  • For best results, we recommend setting up a regular class schedule.

2. Class Sharing

  • Certain promotions may restrict sharing of classes between students.

  • Classes purchased with the Referral Discount are non-transferable.

  • Only one free trial class is allowed per package, and students who have already had free trials cannot share classes within a single package.

  • Class distribution must be decided before the first session and cannot be adjusted afterward.

3. Absence and Rescheduling

  • Students: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform your teacher at least 3 hours before the scheduled class. Otherwise, the class will be deducted from your remaining classes.

  • Teachers: If a teacher needs to cancel or reschedule, they will notify the student at least 3 hours in advance. If not, the student will receive a complimentary class.

  • Platform Issues: No class deductions will apply if a platform-wide issue prevents communication between both parties.

4. Class Expiration

  • Classes will expire if there is no contact from the student to ESL1on1 for 100 consecutive days.

5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds may be requested within 7 days of payment.

  • Purchases made with promotional discounts are non-refundable.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days.

Conditional Discount Policy

At ESL1on1, we offer exclusive discounts to students and companies who have supported us throughout our journey. Access to discounted rates is provided via secure links and passwords. We kindly ask that these links and passwords remain confidential and are not shared with others. Any payment attempts from individuals who have not qualified for these discounts will be declined, and a transaction fee will be deducted from their end.

Referral Discounts

  • Tier 1: 20% discount off base rates
    Eligibility: Students who have successfully referred one new student to ESL1on1.

  • Tier 2: 25% discount off base rates
    Eligibility: Students who have successfully referred two new students to ESL1on1.

  • Tier 3: 35% discount off base rates
    Eligibility: Students who have successfully referred three or more new students, or companies with at least five employees currently enrolled or planning to enroll in classes with ESL1on1.
